Premier Cinema Lux is Re-Opening

Grand Prairie’s Premiere LUX Cine’ at 510 E. Westchester Pkwy (I-20 @ Carrier Pkwy) is pleased to announce it’s reopening on Friday, June 19th. This follows Texas Governor Abbott’s announcement last week that cinemas may resume operations under certain guidelines and restrictions including 50% occupancy.  “We are thrilled to reopen!” said Premiere Director Jason Thode. “We’ve missed seeing our customers and I think they’re more-than-ready to return to the cinema and the big-screen experience.” 
The Grand Prairie Premiere LUX is a local favorite, serving movie-goers from miles around with its comfortable recliner seating, private swivel tables at each seat, and iconic Pizza Pub lobby bar which will reopen simultaneously. Guests will notice a few operational changes. While face masks remain optional for guests, staff will wear gloves and face masks and be temperature-screened as an abundance of safety according to management. New cashier partitions and hand sanitizer stations have been installed
along with enhanced cleaning/sanitization protocols such as disinfecting seats and contact surfaces between shows. New signage and floor markers similar to those in grocery stores are installed reminding people of social distancing recommendations, and show times are being staggered with more time between showings. All of the auditoriums feature spacious recliner-seating which allow guests to select 
and reserve their own seats online or in-person. Friends and family may all sit together while designated seats will be left unoccupied to achieve capacity and distancing guidelines allowing guests more privacy to spread out. Premiere will continue following local, state and federal guidelines to the welfare of our staff and communities as top-priority, while providing the finest in quality and enjoyment from the big-screen movie-going experience on every visit.
