Board of Directors

The Grand Prairie Chamber of Commerce is a 501c(6), with governing documents, run by the Chamber President and Board of Directors.

The Chamber is honored to have a wide variety of individuals serving on the Board of Directors, which reflects the diversity of our business community.  From sole proprietors to Grand Prairie's largest employer, Lockheed Martin, with more than 4,000 employees - this Board of Directors has the pulse and perspective of this growing community. We also are honored to have ex-officio members representing State Representatives and County Commissioners who join us monthly.

Twelve seats on the Board are nominated and elected by the Board; 6 are appointed by the incoming Chairman of the Board.  The honor of being on the Board comes with certain obligations, including attendance at monthly board meetings, financial investments to annual events, serving as ambassadors of the Chamber at special events, assisting with outreach and member retention, as well as member recruitment.
