    Black Owned Business Collective

    This group was started to discover the challenges still encountered by our Black Owned Business owners and managers.  The group will meet monthly, on the 4th Tuesday at the Chamber, from 11:30 to 1, to connect, share and hear presentations on topics decided by the group.  Black Owned Business Collective allies are also welcome!

    Dates for 2023 are as follows, topics to be announced.  All meetings will require RSVP and can be found on our Chamber Calendar.

    Veteran Entrepreneur Network (VEN)

    Chamber Ambassadors, formerly known as Branding Irons

    This committee of dedicated chamber members is responsible for being the welcoming committee for the Chamber and serves as Ambassadors to make all feel welcome. They serve as official greeters at Luncheons and Business After Hour mixers. They preside over all ribbon cuttings that are specifically scheduled to welcome new members to the Chamber.

    Mission: Supporting Chamber education programs and working closely with Workforce Development and our community schools to mentor the future workforce.

    Legislative Affairs Committee

    The Chamber is the voice of business to the local, state and federal government.

    This committee meets to discuss and legislation that will affect business. We share this information with our membership and ask for feedback so we can appropriately represent our community businesses.

    We also provide a Voter’s Guide each year to share information about candidates for local City Council and School Board elections.
